No more than 30min on treadmill, elliptical, bike (as long as you've used it in the past week or so).
Dynamics / Core / stretch/ etc.
Focus on warming body up and getting good flexibility.
Stay indoors. Cold internal body temps can injure muscles easily!
*** Do not run in the snow this afternoon. Be smart!
Tuesday for those that didn't run early - 30-40 minutes of cardio(treadmill, bike or eliptical) stretch and core.
Wednesday - 30 minutes of cardio and stretch. Make sure to look for updates from Coach DIgby via email. If there is no school, there is a small chance that we will be able to practice in the afternoon.
*** Be careful. We are so close to the Conference meet and cannot afford an injury. Shoveling snow for hours is also probably not a great idea. We have done a lot of work to get to this point. Let's not waste it!
Tuesday - If possible get your lift in today. If that is not possible, 15 minutes of cardio would be great. We can't afford to be coach potatoes. If nothing else- Push ups, core, planks.
Wednesday - Unlikely that we will have school - make sure to look for team emails in case they let us practice in the afternoon. If we don't have practice, need you to get in some cardio and then if possible a light lift. 50% of weights and reps. Again, important that we are active at some point of the day.
