This workout is for all of Coach Digby/Coach Noguchi's groups Please get this done.
For those not able to be at practices: Monday 12/23 warm up and drills. Then 2 minutes hard/ 60 seconds easy. Repeat 6 times. 5 minutes recovery. Then 90 seconds hard/ 60 seconds recovery. Repeat 6 times. 5 minutes recovery. Then 30 seconds hard/30 seconds easy. Repeat 6 times. 10 minute cool down. Tuesday: 50 minute run. relaxed pace. 8 x strides Wednesday: Enjoy the off day Thursday: warm up and drills. Then 30seconds hard / 30 easy repeat 8 times. 5 minutes recovery and repeat entire set. Friday: 30 minute easy run and strides Saturday: IF NOT RACING- 10 minutes warm up then 20 minutes hard tempo run. then 10 minutes cool down. *** Please try and keep up with your core workouts. Do them every other day. To keep ourselves ready to resume weight training upon your return, 5 sets of 20 pushups every other day.

Making a Varsity Team at LB should be a big deal. Athletes that make our varsity team are the top track kids in the school and should be identified. We will have certain criteria this year for our athletes to earn their way on to the varsity team. Please read the attached file to see the qualification standards, etc.
