Match Notes:  Heroes of the day included #4 Stan and #6 Anikait who both beat some talented players.  Stan the man took care of business this time against the Woodson # 4 Ted Rose who almost beat him last time.  #6 Anikait beat one of the top #6 players in the entire conference both last time and this time even more soundly winning 10 games to 4.  #1 Daddy Dustin and #2 keen Kyle convincingly took care of their matches against the Woodson team.  LB Boys won 5 out of 6 singles to secure the match.  Only Luke could not finish strong after being up 7 games to 4 because Luke is still recovering from an illness that again dragged him down despite his efforts.  That freed the team up to play our seniors in two out of three doubles matches.  On Senior Day, Abhishake Singh and Eddie Rosensteel tried hard but came up short at #2 doubles, but had lots of fun in front of the viewing parents.  After being injured much of the season, Tyler Esposo and Joshu Carpio fought hard and had some very entertaining points, but could not make enough points together to win more games and lost 2-8.  Really glad the team took care of business early today so they could have fun on Senior Day and enjoy themselves.  With today’s victory, Lake Braddock has secured it’s number #2 seed in the team championships.  Let’s cheer on our number #1 and number #2 singles and doubles on who will be playing at Fairfax next week.

Exhibitions were not recorded today as the boys mainly just wanted to relax and watch the important matches while playing some friendly matches.

We appreciated Mr. Pete Bendorf, Interim DSA and Dr. Banbury, Interim Principal along with the honor guard who came to help recognize our 8 Seniors on Senior Day in ranking order [Stan Tran, Kyle Truong, Abhishake Singh, Eddie Rosensteel, Brian Nguyen, Tyler Hayden, Tyler Esposo, and Joshua Carpio].
