GAME SUMMARY
The Bruins opened their season at home on Tuesday with a win against the Lee Lancers, 9-0. Captain Nick O'Connor at 3 singles spared no time leading the way for the Bruins with their first point, winning his match 10-0. At 4 and 5 singles, the Bruins have some new faces in the lineup, with freshman Kyle Truong (4) and sophmore Brandom Em (5) both earning their first varsity wins. And in doubles, Justus/Em and Wartel/Rochlis easily finished their opponents at the 2 and 3 slots, while Kunc/Renteria took on a battle in the 1 doubles position. Trading games and breaks back and forth with the Lancers, they were able to finally get out ahead at the end, winning 10-8. Next up for the Bruins, South County on Thursday, at home.
